EVENT: Death and the Working Class

The People's History Museum, which is located just off Deansgate, Central Manchester, is hosting an exhibition between now and May 2011 on Death and the Working Class. This is an evocative and emotional experience, which looks at the ways working people used to deal with the tragedy as befell many within their communities, invariably, prematurely.

The People's History Museum has been in existence, in one form or another, since the 1970s, and seeks to educate and inform people of the struggles and sacrifices made by working people since the 1800s. However, now this vital institution is under threat from cuts in funding from the Con Dem government. You can find out further information on this by clicking here.
