John Hallsworth

A particularly sad memory of Kinder for many of us is the sudden death of our loved and valued comrade John Hallsworth who we heard was unable to attend the walk which took place in 2017 due to illness, only to discover that he had passed away.

We are posting a link to the tribute to John which appeared in the Morning Star on 12th May 2017.

Yet another casualty of the coronavirus lockdown was the annual John Hallsworth Memorial lecture which should have taken place at Glossop Labour Club, where John was secretary.
