
1) Join the VSC or Affiliate Your Organisation - Becoming a member of VSC is the best way you can support us & become involved with our work. A growing, active membership is vital to our ability to provide solidarity with Venezuela. Membership is only £18 (£9 concessions) & includes a subscription to our magazine. If you join, you also receive a free Revolution Will Not Be Televised DVD. (Please note that just because you receive our emails does not mean you are a paid-up member - please reply to this email if you would like us to check.)
2) Organise a Speaker, Meeting or Film Showing on Hugo Chavez' Legacy & Venezuela in your local area, sector or organisation - As misrepresentation in the media of both Hugo Chavez' legacy & the current situation in Venezuela intensifies, it is vital we tell the positive truth of Venezuela. VSC has a wide range of films you can show in your local area or organisation, can provide expert speakers & has members across the country who can help if you put on an event. Email info@venezuelasolidarity.co.uk for details on speakers & films, or a motion to use in your union, campaigning group, political or community organisation.
3) Volunteer in the VSC office & at events - we need more help than ever with special mailings in our national office (based in North London) & other tasks from data entry to helping with leafletting / stalls at events. To help email Matt on info@venezuelasolidarity@co.uk
4) Register for our April 27 National Conference, Hugo Chavez' Legacy: Showing There is An Alternative in the 21st Century - Please put the date in your diary & register today. Speakers include H.E. 5) Spread our Message on Social Media & Get Active in our Media Action Network - If you would like to help the Media Action Network in our vital work of telling the truth about Venezuela by rebutting media misrepresentations please email info@venezuelasolidarity.co.uk - engaging in media debate will be more important than ever in the next period (running up to Venezuela's recently announced Presidential Election on April 14) so please get involved.
