The Greater Manchester Morning Star Readers and Supporters Group have announced the details of the 2nd annual sponsored walk up Kinder Scout to raise money for the paper. The walk, which will start at 10.30am, will commence from outside the Rambler Inn, located right next to the train station in Edale, Derbyshire. Last years inaugural event managed to raise over £1,500 and attracted around 25 people with some coming from as far afield as Salford, Bury and Blackburn. We hope to make this years event even bigger with interest already forthcoming even with just under two months until the day itself.
