EVENT: Living Apart: Photographs of Apartheid by Ian Berry

The Maritime Museum in Liverpool is currently holding an excellent exhibition which documents the dark days of apartheid using images from photographer, Ian Berry. The exhibition is complemented by the powerful and though provoking film 'Apartheid didn't Die' by the acclaimed journalist, John Pilger, which raises serious questions in regards to the historic compromises made by Nelson Mandela and the ANC in overcoming the remnants of the old, racist system which plagued South Africa for so long.
