The CP was invited to speak at the celebration of Communist poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz at the Longsight Pakistani Community Centre in Manchester on Saturday the 6th March.
Ray Walker represented the CP to a meeting of 90 people packed into the centre. Speaker after speaker paid tribute to a man who suffered for his politics during the 1940's as Pakistan fought for independence.
