Manchester Communists Sent To Jail

Well… Facebook jail, that is!

This morning we shared a post from Young Communist League - Victoria, which highlighted the ongoing war against Communism and the fact that The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation has decided to add Global Coronavirus Deaths to it’s “Historical Victims of Communism.”

The post was published, all was well. However, our admin spied a pithy meme depicting some rather famous “victims of Communism” - namely Mussolini, Tsar Nicholas II and of course, Hitler and decided it would be a relevant follow-up post.

Unfortunately, within minutes of the second post being published, Facebook removed it and sent a notification to say we’d violated community standards and would not be permitted to post for 30 days!

We have requested a review of this matter and are awaiting Facebook’s decision.
