Michael Herbert will teaching a 10 week adult evening class in January at Aquinas College, Stockport on Manchester's Radical Women, beginning on 6 January 2014.The class is open to all and there are no examinations. The course will include the roots of radical politics in the English Revolution, the 1790s radical movement and Mary Wollstonecraft, women Luddites and women at Peterloo, the Owenite feminists of the 1830s, women and trade unions. the suffragists and Votes for Women.
It will also include 3 walks in Manchester, exploring sites connected with the women's movement
