Manchester Film Co-operative

On Tuesday 22 November, the director of a new documentary about the Zapatistas, Nicolas Défossé, will be over from France for a special screening of his Viva Mexico! at the Manchester Film Co-operative in Salford. This is a collaborative screening with Manchester Zapatista Solidarity Group.

The coop organises regular screenings and discussions of films that "challenge current economics, politics and society". Owned and run by its members, the co-operative offers a non-commercial space to explore alternatives through film.

The films starts at 7.45 and will be followed by discussion with the director. Entry to film £3 or £2 for unwaged, low waged, students or OAPs. Pleae arrive early as it's likely to be busy.
