EVENT: Support the PCS Equality & Human Rights Commission Walkout

When: Monday 6 June, 11.30 – 12.30
Where: Cross Street, outside Arndale Centre, in front of big wheel

EHRC management are reducing access to legal advice and general support.

The cuts they propose will mean, closing the Helpline, which advises people on their rights, less resources for enforcing the law and tackling discrimination, closing regional offices & ending grants to charities, projects, disability groups and community organisations that are often the first port of call for victims of discrimination and harassment.

Victims of discrimination and human rights abuses in Britain have nowhere to turn, and employers who break the law will no longer be held to account. PCS members at the EHRC are fighting back.

Not just to save our jobs, but to defend the essential services we provide to the public and communities. If you can't join us on the day there are many other ways to support our campaign:
