EVENT: Closure of Maternity Units - Lobby NHS North West Board Meeting

On Wednesday 2nd February, the team in charge of reviewing the reconfiguration of maternity services in Greater Manchester will recommend that the Board vote in favour of closing 3 of our 12 units - Rochdale, Fairfield (Bury) and Salford Royal (Hope). See the recommendation here.

Protesters will be lobbying the meeting and also going in to the meeting room to hear the decision. Meet 9am, outside Piccadilly Train Station (by the red pillar box). At around 9.30am we will walk together over the bridge to NHS Northwest headquarters. The decision meeting will be taking place at 10.30 on the 4th Floor, 3, Piccadilly Place Manchester M1 3BN.
